Parents of teenagers and young adults –
Your home is changing. Older children still need their parents, but in different ways than they needed them before. Roles are altered, responsibilities shift, interests change – and that’s the parents! Truly, parents are changing as much as their teenagers during this phase of life. The difference is that teens are moving on to college or jobs, and parents are stuck living the same old life – but without their original purpose. That can be confusing.
“What do you want to be when you grow up?”
“What do you want to be when you grow up?” is not just a question for children. Adults ask that same question when we’ve accomplished many of our original goals – finding a career, building a home, raising children, developing a community – but half of our years are still ahead. We will do some energizing work to explore what it will be like to be a parent with an empty nest. What parenting strategies are effective with young adults?
Life Coaching to embrace the significance in your own life!
We’ll also cut loose and explore options for your new freedom – and learn how to make the most of this time. You will be inspired to embrace significance in your own life!
If it seems that your child needs you more for your credit card than your lap these days, and you’re not quite sure how to love this new phase of life, then this group is for you.
